Deleting your account
Applies to GMB Ranking on the web, iOS and Android.
You can delete your GMB Ranking account at any time, from either the app or the website. Deletion is immediate and permanent — we cannot restore an account once it is gone.
In the app
- Open the menu (⋯) at the top right of your locations list
- Tap Account
- Tap Delete account and confirm with your password
On the website
- Sign in at gmbranking.com
- Go to Delete your account
- Confirm with your password
Deleting some data, but keeping your account
You do not have to close your account to remove data:
- A location and everything gathered for it — in the app, open the location and choose ⋮ → Delete this location. On the website, open Location Manager and choose Delete. This removes its rank scans, audits, citation report and scheduled posts.
- Individual posts — open Post Scheduler and delete any scheduled or published post.
- Your Google connection — revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
- A public report link — turn sharing off on the report and the link stops working immediately.
For anything else, email support@gmbranking.com from the address on the account, saying what you want removed. We action these within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account, profile and login
- Every location you added, with its rank scans, audits, citation reports and scheduled posts
- Saved reports and public share links, which stop working immediately
- API tokens, and any team access you granted to others
What is kept, and for how long
- Invoices and payment records — retained for 7 years, as tax and accounting law requires.
- Posts already published to Google — these live on your Google Business Profile, not on our servers. Delete them from Google if you want them removed.
- Server logs — routine technical logs are overwritten within 30 days.
If you cannot sign in, email support@gmbranking.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you within 30 days.
